The ‘Vidarbha Orthopaedic Society, Nagpur’ is a vibrant registered charitable organization presently (2016) having‘400 plus and growing’ Orthopaedic Surgeons practicing in Vidarbha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh and Central India.
The Society has grown ‘leaps & bounds’ under the leadership of great stalwarts of Orthopaedics and is proud to have ‘Padma’ award recipients as its members and founding fathers. The society has also regularly contributed towards national and state level Orthopaedic leadership in the form of illustrious VOS members working as Presidents of Indian and Maharashtra Orthopaedic Associations. The present lot of younger members trained in best training facilities and universities in India and abroad have brought in a dynamic change in academic, clinical, societal and organisational aspects of the society under the able, mature and wise guidance of senior surgeons of the region. The academic programs organised by VOS Nagpur are eagerly awaited for scientific content, knowledge, skills and technical prowess by Orthopaedic Surgeons with active participation from all over the region, country and abroad.
