Yet another academic meet par excellence Advance Trauma Symposium – Upper Extremity Symposium & Workshop is planned on 8th & 9th June 2019 at Hotel Le Meridian, Nagpur. VOS team is working hard to make this event a memorable one
ATS is a specialized educational endeavour of DePuy Synthes for experienced orthopaedic surgeons which addresses complexities for trauma care concerning trauma with highlights on the management of comminuted fractures. With an objective of delivering ‘solution-oriented learning’, ATS entails detailed indication-based discussions led by an expert panel of faculty.
ATS further elaborates and provides a dynamic platform to evaluate multiple treatment options applicable to trauma fractures. Built around a selection of cases by eminent surgeon faculty as well as the participants, ATS provides an opportunity for a one-on-one discussion of common and complex clinical issues related to the focused anatomical region. By addressing key domains like post-operative issues and care along with prognosis management, ATS finally aims to offer an end-to-end learning opportunity to the participants.
Designed through a distinctively structured educational methodology, ATS achieves the desired objectives through expert lectures, dynamic case discussions and hands-on workshops on bone models. This unique focused approach to learning is aimed to enlighten the participants with a detailed understanding and comfort in providing best solutions to complex trauma issues related to specific anatomical region hence explores newer modalities in advanced patient care.
As we advance towards specialization, it is imperative to shift ATS of surgeon education from generics to specifics. This unique educational approach aims to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify the optimal solution for complex surgical management issues related to specific ATS area.
