The Vidarbha Orthopedic Society (VOS) successfully conducted its first monthly clinical meeting of the academic year 2026-27 on 17th April 2026, under the leadership of President Dr. Unmesh Mahajan and Secretary Dr. Vikram Sapre. The meeting was attended by more than 80 orthopedic surgeons and postgraduate students, reflecting the enthusiastic response from VOS members.
The academic program focused on Distal Radius Fractures and featured three informative lectures by Dr. R. M. Chandak, Dr. Ajit Phadke, and Dr. Pooja Akhtar. The scientific session was chaired by Dr. N. K. Saxena and Dr. Kiran Saoji.
The meeting also included four engaging case presentations by Dr. Makrand Dhopawkar, Dr. Piyush Gadegone, Dr. Kartik Ghate, and Dr. Akshay Ingle. The case discussion was expertly moderated by Dr. Sumedh Chaudhary and Dr. Dilip Rathi, resulting in an interactive and educational exchange of ideas.
The meeting was highly appreciated by the members and marked a successful beginning to the VOS academic calendar, reaffirming the Society’s commitment to promoting quality orthopedic education and academic interaction.
