VOSN Research Grant Initiative

Greetings from VOSN 2026-27!

VOSN has always been a vibrant and active body proactively involved in academics and research. In order to promote the culture of research amongst all our members, VOSN is happy to announce that applications are invited for the research grant for the year 2026-27.

The application along with the research proposal has to be submitted to nagpurvos@gmail.com before 30th Nov 2026.

Research grant committee/judging panel will scrutinize the applications and their decision will be final. Every year 2 projects will be selected for the grant. The guidelines are as follows:

A grant of ₹25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand Only) has been approved for your research project under the terms and conditions outlined by the society.

Key Terms & Grant Conditions:

• Role & Responsibility: As the Principal Investigator (PI), you are responsible for the successful completion of the project. Please note that no change of PI is permitted once approved.
• Disbursement Structure: The grant will be paid by cheque in the name of the Principal Investigator in two equal instalments:
  • First Instalment (50% – ₹12,500/-): Released upon submission of the mandatory Ethics Committee (EC) clearance during the VOSN CME.
  • Final Instalment (50% – ₹12,500/-): Released upon submission of the final project completion report.
• Budget Utilization: The allotted funds may be utilized for equipment purchase, stationery, travel expenses, investigations, or other direct expenses required for the research project.
• Presentation & Publication: The final research findings must be presented as a paper or poster at the Annual VOSN Conference. You are required to explicitly acknowledge the VOSN Research Grant Initiative 2025 in all presentations and future publications resulting from this work.
