Hip Preservation Society, Saket Foundation and VOSN jointly conducted another successful episode of PGCM. National Cancer Institute (NCI), Jamtha whole heartedly extended the support for the meet. Keeping in mind that the current residents and young surgeons are the forerunners of Orthopedic excellence in India, this clinical meet focuses on basic skills in clinical examination for the residents and words of wisdom for young surgeons.

The meet started with interactive table discussion on trochanteric wring (Dr Alok Umre), pearls on bone curettage (Dr Sandesh Thete), Dr Karandikar demonstrated moulding technique for posterior column fractures of acetabulum and Dr Sameer Dwidmuthe excellently demonstrated the principles of interfragmentary plating and DCP to the delegates.
After an interactive session on gait by Dr Anil Golhar where residents decoded the finer details of gait assessment senior faculties shared cases which they would never do again. The idea was to learn from own mistakes and share with everyone for inputs and learning.

Dr Prasad Gourineni (USA), Dr Sameer Dwidmuthe (AIIMS-N), Dr Sandesh Thete (NCI) shared pearls on important topics. Dr Anand Pathak (Medical Oncologist and Director-NCI) in his very crisp talk gave an insight into recent advances in bone tumors.
Residents from AIIMS-N and NKPSIMS presented interesting cases. These cases were moderated by seniors: Dr N K Saxena and Dr Sushil Mankar. The residents learnt the exact method of short cases presentation with inputs from all seniors present.
